Needed a small printer for my side gig. Something I could just plug in and not think about. This fit the bill.
Saw this and figured it would be cheap and flimsy. I've been wrong before. The plastic feels sturdy enough, not that gross brittle kind of plastic.
The best part is the lack of ink. My old printer was always dried up or making a mess. This thing just runs on the paper rolls. It's way cleaner. I've been using it to print little diagrams and reference pics for my hobby. The quality is sharp enough for that. It's a simple gadget, but it feels well-made for what it is. Pretty happy with it.
It‘s a basic printer. It makes a 2-inch print. It does that. It‘s white. It‘s small. I‘ve used the three rolls that came with it, and it printed every single one without jamming or messing up. If your needs are simple, and you just want a dedicated printer for this size, it fits the bill. No complaints on my end.
Since it‘s thermal, there‘s zero ink cost, which is awesome. It churns through these small labels super fast. The quality is totally fine for a scannable label. The pack came with 3 rolls, so I‘m set for a while. It‘s not gonna win any design awards, but as a simple tool for a specific task, it‘s great.
What I like is how fast it is. You hit print and boom, it‘s there. It‘s kinda cool actually, just heat and paper. Makes a slight whirring sound, but it‘s not loud or annoying. It feels pretty light, but it hasn‘t given me any trouble yet. Good little gadget if you need quick prints without any hassle.
Honestly, I bought this for one dumb reason: to print tiny photos of my dog to stick in my planner. That‘s it. So I wasn‘t looking for anything fancy.
Got it, plugged it in, put the paper in. It was way simpler than I thought it‘d be. It just fired up and worked. The prints are exactly what I wanted them to be. Quick, simple, no weird smudges or anything. The white color looks fine on my desk. If you just need a basic little printer for small stuff, this one gets the job done without being a pain.
The setup involved little more than connecting it and loading the provided rolls. The printing itself is immediate; there is no waiting for processing.
The printer arrived and slotted into the available space without fuss. The feed mechanism takes the paper without issue, and the results are consistent from the first print to the last of a roll.
Took it out of the box and it was exactly as pictured. No surprises, which is nice. The instructions were basically just pictures, but it was intuitive enough to figure out. Put the roll in, closed it, plugged it in.I haven't run through all the paper yet, but the first few prints looked solid.
I was so tired of opening my laptop, waiting for it to boot, opening the big printer software, finding the file, and then dealing with paper jams just to print one stupid little address label.
This thing is the opposite of all that. Pick up my phone, find the pic, tap print, and it's in my hand. It's ridiculously convenient for those tiny tasks that don't warrant a full printer meltdown. It's not going to print your vacation photos, but for anything short-term and transactional, it's a tiny slice of genius. The three-roll starter pack is a nice touch.
