1.2 Commercial Information: Records of products purchased, service history, and feedback you provide regarding software exceptions or crashes.

1.3 Internet & Network Activity: Browsing history on our site, app usage patterns, click records, and hardware information (mobile model and OS version).

1.4 Sensory Data & Permissions: We only access the following features if you explicitly grant permission in the Nelko App:

1.4.1 Bluetooth & Location: To pair and connect with portable printers (Location is required by Android systems to perform Bluetooth scans).

1.4.2 Camera & Photos: To scan barcodes/QR codes, take photos for printing, or upload images for text recognition.

1.4.3 Microphone: To enable voice-to-text recognition features.

1.4.4 Storage/Files: To import Excel files or local images for printing.

SECTION 2 - WHY WE USE YOUR DATA (LEGAL BASIS)

Under the GDPR, we only process your data when we have a valid legal reason:

2.1 Contractual Necessity: To create your account, process orders, and provide essential printing services.

2.2 Legitimate Interests: To analyze app crashes, optimize software for different device models, and improve our product security.

2.3 Legal Obligation: To handle product recalls, comply with tax laws, or respond to valid legal requests.

2.4 Consent: For marketing communications and the use of sensory device permissions (Camera, Microphone, etc.). You can withdraw this consent at any time.

SECTION 3 - INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS & SECURITY

Nelko operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your home country.

3.1 Safeguards: For transfers outside the EEA or UK, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure your information receives the same level of protection.

3.2 Encryption: We use industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) for data in transit and AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) for data at rest to prevent unauthorized access.

We only keep your data for as long as necessary:

4.1 Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active.

4.2 Deletion: Once an account is closed, we erase or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain specific transaction records for tax or audit purposes.

4.3 Technical Logs: App crash reports and diagnostic data are typically anonymized or deleted after 90 days.

We will verify your identity through your registered email address or, if applicable, by requesting product identification details (e.g., SN code or Order ID). We will acknowledge your request within 5 days and complete the process within 30 days.
