SOFTWARE POLICY

SECTION 1 - GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1 This Software Policy applies to all software, mobile applications ("Apps"), and firmware (collectively, "Software") developed and provided by Nelko to support the use of our printing products.
1.2 By installing, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Software.
SECTION 2 - LICENSE GRANT
2.1 Nelko grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited license to use the Software solely for the operation of your Nelko devices.
2.2 This license does not grant you any ownership rights in the Software. All intellectual property, including copyrights and trademarks, remains the sole property of Nelko or its licensors.
SECTION 3 - USAGE RESTRICTIONS
3.1 You shall not, and shall not permit others to, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software.
3.2 You may not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software.
3.3 The Software may not be used for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that violates local or international laws.
SECTION 4 - UPDATES AND MAINTENANCE
4.1 Nelko may, from time to time, provide updates, bug fixes, or new versions of the Software to improve performance, functionality, or security.
4.2 Some updates may be installed automatically. You acknowledge that failure to install updates may result in reduced functionality, software errors, or security risks.
4.3 Compatibility: Nelko strives to maintain compatibility with major operating systems (e.g., iOS, Android, Windows); however, we do not guarantee that the Software will function on all devices or future versions of third-party systems.
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE & CONSUMABLES
5.1 The Software may contain or link to third-party open-source components. Such components are governed by their respective licenses.
5.2 Firmware updates are designed to optimize printing performance and ensure device security. Nelko does not guarantee the continuous functionality of non-certified consumables that have not undergone security verification with our latest encryption protocols.
SECTION 6 - DATA COLLECTION AND PRIVACY
6.1 The Software may collect certain technical data (e.g., device model, print volume, error logs) to help us diagnose issues and improve our services.
6.2 All data collection and processing activities are governed by the Nelko Privacy Policy.
SECTION 7 - TERMINATION
7.1 Nelko reserves the right to terminate your license to use the Software immediately if you violate any terms of this policy.
7.2 Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies of the Software from your devices.
