WARRANTY POLICY

SECTION 1 - WARRANTY PERIOD AND ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Nelko provides a 12-month Limited Warranty on hardware products (the "Product") to ensure a reliable user experience, unless a longer minimum warranty period is strictly required by local law (e.g., 2 years in the E.U.).
1.2 Warranty Calculation: The warranty period commences on the date of original purchase by the first end-user customer. The date on your sales receipt or official invoice is the definitive start date.
1.3 Proof of Purchase: To exercise your rights under this warranty, a valid proof of purchase (such as an order ID from an authorized channel or a formal invoice) is mandatory.
SECTION 2 - ADDITIONAL WARRANTY
2.1 Extension Criteria: On top of the standard 12-month warranty period, an additional 6-month warranty extension may be applicable. To be eligible, you must register your product on the official Nelko website or app within 30 days of the original purchase.
2.2 Applicability: This extension applies only to products purchased in their original packaging via authorized Nelko retail partners or official channels. The extended period commences immediately after the standard warranty lapses.
SECTION 3 - EXTENT OF WARRANTY
3.1 Remedies: If a valid claim is accepted, Nelko will, at its sole discretion: (i) repair the defect using new or refurbished parts equivalent to new in performance; (ii) replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit of an equivalent model; or (iii) exchange the product for a refund, from which a reasonable amount for depreciation may be deducted.
3.2 Ownership of Parts: When a product or part is replaced or refunded, any replacement item becomes your property, and the replaced or refunded item becomes Nelko's property.
SECTION 4 - EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS (MANDATORY)
Our warranty does NOT apply to, and Nelko shall have no liability for, the following:
4.1 Consumables & Accessories: Consumable parts designed to diminish over time (including labels, paper, ribbons, ink, and batteries), cables, and software, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
4.2 Cosmetic Damage & Normal Wear: Cosmetic damage (including scratches or dents) and defects caused by normal wear and tear or the normal aging of the product.
4.3 Third-Party Products: Damage caused by the use of non-Nelko brand accessories, power adapters, or non-original consumables (e.g., third-party label rolls).
4.4 Abuse & Misuse: Damage resulting from accidents, liquid contact, fire, operating the product outside Nelko's published guidelines, or improper transportation and packaging when returning the product.
4.5 Unauthorized Service: Damage caused by service, upgrades, or modifications performed by anyone not authorized by Nelko, or if the serial number has been removed or altered.
4.6 Data Loss Disclaimer: Nelko shall not be liable for the loss or compromise of data, software, or business information resulting from the use or repair of the Product.
SECTION 5 - WARRANTY EXTENSION FOR REPLACEMENTS
5.1 In the event of a product replacement or repair, the replacement item assumes the remaining warranty of the original Product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement, whichever provides longer coverage. Receipt of a replacement does not restart the original warranty period.
SECTION 6 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
6.1 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by local law, Nelko's liability is strictly limited to repairing or replacing the product. Nelko shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty.
6.2 Statutory Rights: This warranty is in addition to, and does not derogate from, any of your statutory consumer rights under applicable local laws.
SECTION 7 - HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
7.1 Contact Support: If you purchased through our official website or app, please contact our Customer Support team at support@nelko.net for troubleshooting and authorization before returning any item.
7.2 Reseller Purchases: If you purchased the product from an authorized reseller, please contact the reseller directly for warranty service. If you cannot reach a solution, you may then contact Nelko support.
7.3 Return Packaging & Safety: The product must be returned in its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection. Important: Do not attempt to open the product or remove any protective elements, as this may cause damage not covered by the warranty.
